This week's topic is "Traditional Anishnaabe celebration of life and wedding ceremonial practices". Come join us to learn to understand Anishnaabe practices amongst the Anishnaabek Nations. Bringing back lost knowledge to support First Nations people with their families and communities. Reverend Tina will share some teachings about protocols honouring a loved one during a celebration of life. And some practices that couples choose for a traditional Anishnaabe wedding ceremony (Wiidigendiwin). Prayers and topic by Reverend Tina Steele/Reverend Zhaab Waabi Kwe and meditation by Reverend Rita. Reverend Zhaab Waabi Kwe is a member of Hiawatha First Nation living near Combermere. Recognized knowledge keeper and traditional healer. Zhaab Waabi Kwe meaning "She Sees Through Clearly Woman" is also a seer, advisor and spirit talker.
