 "It was such an honour and a blessing to be chosen as one of the grand prize winners in Sunlight’s Helping Canadians Shine Contest. We are honoured to be recognized for the work we do through Ryan’s Hope and to receive this award of $10,000.00. This prize could not have come at a more needed time! As winter fast approaches we have struggled to keep up with the growing need for food, and shelter in our community. This money will be put to use to help us continue to support our most vulnerable community members through our Breakfast-To- Go, Street Outreach and Loads of Love free laundry program. We are so thankful to every one of our dedicated volunteers and all our supporters who have helped us build such a beautiful community of love! As a organization that is 100% volunteer run and community supported we did this together! As a newly ordained minister with the Bancroft Centre for Awakening Spiritual Growth I am thankful to be supported by such a beautiful and uplifting spiritual community.
